I was in Starbucks going on one of my raves about Bring Me The Horizon and this dirty scene kid (I didn’t know) was behind me and said, “You can’t like bmth… you don’t look the part”
I’m sorry, because I don’t have coon tails no more, don’t wear Brokencyde tees and plastic diamonds round my neck, my music taste should move on too. No. I might dress like something from the past but my likings within music remains how it always has done. You’ll also find that the band don’t dress that way no more, they grew up… take a leaf out of their book.
When me and my mum went out, we got stuck in traffic on the way back. We were on a bridge and I was looking into the river thinking “I’d love to be a fish”, and I turned to my mum and said “What would you like to be if you were re-incarnated tomorrow?” She replied “I’d be myself” And when I asked why, she said “because I couldn’t think of anything better than the quality of the relationship we share”
I went to York with my mum and we did a little shopping. She bought me two tops from Topshop and a top from H&M for our holiday, along with some chocolates and underwear. She and my dad have also got me odd bits for my birthday, along with this amazing spiritual bracelet that matches my personality, who I am, astrology/horoscopes, fate and stuff like that. I love it so much! In a month or so I’ll be able to show you all it <3
“I must admit, when I’m sitting there in my first class air plane seat and the highfalutin business person next to me asks what I do, I take a bit of delight in saying, ”I’m a stripper…”. I don’t require acceptance or validation, because there will always be someone who doesn’t like it or doesn’t approve. The best we can do is to make peace with our choices in life, and stand by them with conviction and integrity.”—Dita Von Teese (via drugsdreamsmetal)
I dug out the cd you gave me, our favourite bikini of mine, a bottle of suncream that smells like the days we spent together, a bottle of perfume that smells like the nights around you and your note :-)
Nothing has changed from then to now. We are going to be life-long friends.
